The village affords spectacular views both north and south along the coast and it is well worth stopping off if you are staying in the area or just visiting.
Porto Timoni
Porto Timon is a beautiful beach, well hidden and not well known under the village of Afionas and near Agios Georgios Pagon. In fact, these are two different beaches separated by a narrow strip of land. The smallest is called Limni and the biggest Porto Timoni. Indeed, the location is stunning, as lush dense hills end up on both of these beaches, one with blue and the other with the darkest blue waters. These two bays have different water temperatures.
